Commercial Insurance Marketing Specialist

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: $55,000–$70,000 annual, depending on experience, plus annual bonus potential.

What you will do

• Evaluate prospective commercial insurance submissions and develop marketing plans based on carrier appetites.
• Update policy information, gather loss reports, and complete applications and submissions.
• Coordinate with insurance company underwriters to obtain timely and accurate quotes.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to support successful client placements.
• Prepare presentations and bind or issue policies for sales colleagues and clients.

Requirements

• At least two years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience.
• Experience with marketing-related insurance duties and multiple rating platforms used by national and regional carriers.
• A state insurance license is required within the first 90 days of employment.
• Retail agency or sales-environment experience is preferred.
