Account Manager Supply (HVAC)

Location: Albany, New York, United States; customer engagement and daily territory travel required, with collaboration in the office when not meeting customers.

Annual base salary: $72,600–$143,220; incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Generate budgeted sales, manage product mix and pricing, achieve margin goals, and grow market share within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute account-specific business plans to build profitable, long-term customer partnerships.
• Identify customer problems and needs and create action plans to address them.
• Analyze market opportunities and sales data.
• Attend sales meetings and report on sales activity, new account development, services, and promotions.
• Travel daily within the territory, including some overnight travel.

Requirements

• Four or more years of demonstrated business development experience in lieu of a degree, or an associate degree.
• Successful experience in business development and sales.
• CRM or Salesforce experience is preferred.
• Valid in-state driver's license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions during the previous three years.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory and occasionally overnight.
