Senior Java Fullstack Software Engineer (Spring Boot)

Location: Dearborn, Michigan, United States; hybrid work with four days per week in the office

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications across the full software development lifecycle.
• Build backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Java and server-side technologies.
• Create high-level software architecture designs covering application structure, components, and interfaces.
• Develop user-friendly and interactive interfaces while collaborating with product owners, designers, architects, customers, and other cross-functional teams.
• Define software testing strategies and apply test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Optimize application performance, implement security practices, and evaluate emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6+ years of IT experience and 4+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Java and 4+ years with Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Practical experience with two coding languages or advanced practical experience with one coding language.
• Experience with GitHub.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular or React.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Neo4j.
