Senior Full Stack Java Engineer

Location: Remote, U.S. based; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, testing, integration, and support of enterprise applications and services.
• Build scalable full-stack applications with Java, Spring Boot, and React.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven solutions, and messaging integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and external vendors.
• Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Mentor team members and contribute to engineering standards, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, REST APIs, microservices, AWS, MuleSoft, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, Docker/Kubernetes, Gradle/Groovy, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing automated tests with JUnit, Spock, or similar frameworks.
• Experience designing and supporting containerized applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with AI agentic software development tools and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a U.S.-based accredited university and experience with large insurance companies required.
