Senior Deployment Lead (GPU)

Location: Ireland, UK, or Spain — remote/home-based, with extensive global travel to deployment sites

What you will do

• Own deployment plans, schedules, and risk registers for new GPU data centre builds from hardware delivery through production handover.
• Lead on-site racking, cabling, and installation of GPU servers, networking, and power/cooling infrastructure.
• Direct electrical, mechanical, and cabling contractors against schedule, quality, and safety standards.
• Run commissioning and acceptance testing for GPU clusters and define go-live criteria with Network Engineering and Data Centre Operations.
• Coordinate network cutovers and communicate deployment timelines to Sales and Customer Success.
• Build and continuously improve the deployment playbook and provide regular status and risk updates to the Chief Infrastructure Officer.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading physical deployments of GPU clusters, including NVIDIA DGX or HGX platforms.
• Hands-on experience with high-density GPU rack power and cooling, structured cabling, and server racking.
• Experience installing and commissioning InfiniBand or high-speed Ethernet fabrics for GPU cluster builds.
• Experience managing on-site contractors or vendor delivery teams against schedule and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently on-site, make decisions under time pressure, and travel globally at short notice for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data centre network cutover processes.
• Project management certification or equivalent experience with multi-workstream schedules.
• Experience working across multiple countries or regulatory environments for site logistics.
