Commissioning Program Developer (Data Centers)

What you will do

• Define and maintain global commissioning standards, requirements, methodologies, templates, readiness gates, and governance processes.
• Develop scalable commissioning strategies for different regions, project types, and standardized infrastructure solutions.
• Translate business, customer, engineering, delivery, and operational requirements into commissioning frameworks.
• Embed commissioning requirements earlier across design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, supply chain, and operational readiness.
• Develop factory, supplier, off-site, near-site, and modular testing and validation approaches.
• Advance Commissioning as Code through digital workflows, automated checks, telemetry integration, structured evidence capture, reporting, and analytics.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in commissioning, mission-critical infrastructure delivery, operational readiness, construction, engineering, manufacturing, automation, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, and integrated system commissioning in complex infrastructure environments.
• Experience developing commissioning standards, specifications, test procedures, readiness processes, or programmatic delivery frameworks.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, operations, construction, commissioning, procurement, suppliers, and regional delivery teams.
• Experience using data, metrics, lessons learned, and performance analysis to improve delivery outcomes.
• Strong written and executive communication skills, with the ability to balance global consistency and regional execution requirements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, building systems, industrial engineering, controls, data center infrastructure, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, energy, technology infrastructure, or industrialized delivery.
• Experience with modular or prefabricated delivery, factory acceptance testing, supplier quality, integrated systems validation, or off-site commissioning.
• Working knowledge of controls systems, building automation systems, telemetry platforms, digital twins, commissioning software, or data acquisition tools.
• Experience with automated workflows, digital test procedures, structured evidence capture, data-driven validation, or software-enabled commissioning methods.
