Head of Operations, EMEA (Logistics)

Location: 100% on-site in Oude Meer, North Holland, the Netherlands, Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Own fulfillment KPIs across the Netherlands hub and the wider EMEA network, including speed, accuracy, and service levels.
• Oversee intake, quality control, shipping, and returns operations while ensuring adherence to service-level commitments.
• Directly oversee operations teams in the UK and South Africa and establish consistent standards, SLAs, and ways of working across hubs.
• Manage regional carrier relationships, including FedEx, UPS, and Brinks, while maintaining relationships with suppliers, runners, and other partners.
• Lead the rollout of fulfillment workflows and design SOPs that support operational complexity and growth.
• Develop teams, review operational metrics, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with customer support, supplier teams, and global stakeholders.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in operations, fulfillment, or logistics-based office management.
• 10+ years of experience managing or leading teams.
• Demonstrated ability to execute and enforce daily operational workflows and investigate root causes.
• Proficiency in Excel or Sheets and SQL, with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
• Demonstrable experience using AI tools in day-to-day work.
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Oude Meer, the Netherlands; visa sponsorship is not available. Applications and CVs must be submitted in English.
