TL;DR
Shift Manager (Distribution/Logistics): Managing distribution centre operations across packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfilment with an accent on team leadership, quality assurance, safety compliance, and process optimisation. Focus on resolving fulfilment issues, analysing productivity metrics, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation.
Location: Leeds, United Kingdom (LS15), onsite at the Leeds facility. Weekly rotating shifts are 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm, with full availability required between 6am and 11pm. No weekend work.

What you will do
- Oversee packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfilment activities.
- Manage customer order shipments and resolve fulfilment issues.
- Lead inventory control processes and maintain accurate documentation.
- Drive quality, efficiency, process improvements, and strategic operational initiatives.
- Produce operational reports and analyse productivity metrics.
- Lead and develop a team while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and equipment standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading teams in distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, order fulfilment, and quality control.
- Confidence in decision-making, problem-solving, and operational improvement.
- Experience maintaining quality and health and safety standards.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate clearly.
- Full flexibility and availability between 6am and 11pm is required.
