Supplier Performance Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid role based primarily in Tewkesbury, United Kingdom, with significant travel across the UK and Europe; supplier travel is approximately 50–70% of the role.

What you will do

• Lead short-term supplier recovery, transition, Joint Improvement Plan, and Supplier Improvement Plan projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, project resources, stakeholders, supplier visits, and required support functions.
• Act as hirify.global’s onsite presence at key suppliers and build effective supplier partnerships.
• Assess supplier capacity and capability, identify improvement opportunities, and optimize recovery and development activities.
• Identify, report, and mitigate project risks while tracking progress and escalating issues to the Regional Supplier Development Manager.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers, hirify.global operational teams, and internal and external stakeholders across management levels.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or engineering, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or marine industries.
• Understanding of program and project management principles.
• Strong negotiation, written, verbal, and formal presentation skills.
• Ability to influence suppliers and multidisciplinary operational teams at all management levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the UK and Europe, with occasional further travel and moderate to heavy supplier travel of 50–70%.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational, professional, or advanced education in engineering, supply chain, or business.
