Strategy Analyst (Telecommunications)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska, United States; remote eligible

What you will do

• Support strategic planning, long-range planning, and evaluation of business opportunities through financial models and analytical support.
• Compile business cases and financial metrics aligned with ROI, payback, budget, GAAP, and SOx control requirements.
• Prepare project forecasts, analyze monthly project finances, document variances, and communicate significant changes to leadership.
• Publish annual and multi-year financial reports and maintain project portfolio reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Support the enhancement and governance of strategic road mapping, financial planning, and analysis systems.
• Coach and train colleagues while supporting a collaborative, informed decision-making environment.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in financial planning, strategy development, EBITDA management, or relevant professional work.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; relevant experience or education may substitute year for year.
• Strong accounting, financial, research, analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision and work across departments in a geographically distributed organization.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have

• CPA or CFA credential.
• Telecommunications experience.
• Relevant telecommunications or job-specific certifications.
