Data Center - VCDC (CRAH) Submittal Engineer - Electrical

Location: Lexington, Kentucky, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with flexible work location on Fridays

Salary: $52,300–$107,400 annual base salary

What you will do

• Support electrical engineering for the Airside Data Center Computer Room Air Handler (VCDC) Pod.
• Process configured customer orders, including bid support, submittals, order release, BOM development, and model generation.
• Develop and review electrical designs, wiring packages, component integration, drawings, specifications, and product records.
• Coordinate with mechanical, design, manufacturing, operations, quality, product management, and laboratory teams.
• Resolve production and field electrical issues, support witness test readiness, and contribute to validation activities.
• Perform risk assessments, design reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and design improvements supporting quality, safety, manufacturability, and cost improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring packages, component integration, and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, operations, and manufacturing teams.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in Lexington, Kentucky; Friday work location is flexible.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience in design engineering, product engineering, or electrical engineering support.
• Experience with configured-to-order or engineered-to-order products.
• Experience in HVAC, air handling equipment, or related engineered product environments.
