What you will do

  • Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and brokers to proactively progress cases to conclusion.
  • Conduct field and desk-based investigations to compile necessary evidence and documentation.
  • Prepare preliminary reports analyzing policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum, and resolution tactics.
  • Defend or negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits.
  • Maintain and regularly review proper case reserves.
  • Stay updated on technical changes and participate in professional training programmes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Loss Adjuster specifically handling casualty claims.
  • Knowledge of the insurance market, legal principles, regulations, and relevant Acts.
  • Proficiency with Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.
  • A full driver's license is essential.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to manage an independent workload.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
