Data Center - VCDC (CRAH) Order Fulfillment Designer

Location: Lexington, Kentucky, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with a choice of work location on Fridays. Travel of up to 10% is required.

Annual base salary: $52,300–$107,400. Compensation type: hourly.

What you will do

• Support design execution for the Airside Data Center Computer Room Air Handler (VCDC) Pod.
• Create and maintain equipment drawings, CAD models, bills of material, and product documentation for bids, submittals, order release, manufacturing, and production support.
• Work with engineers and senior design resources on customer-specific drawings and documentation.
• Revise models, drawings, and documentation while resolving routine design issues and escalating complex issues.
• Support Design for Manufacturing updates and Customer Witness Test readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, manufacturing, and other cross-functional partners to improve quality, manufacturability, safety, and on-time execution.

Requirements

• Relevant technical training and 4–6 years of experience in design, drafting, or product documentation support.
• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic design, or a related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, ProEngineer, or similar CAD tools.
• Working knowledge of design and drafting standards, documentation practices, accurate modeling, drawings, and bills of material.
• Ability to work effectively in a technical engineering team, manage varied tasks, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and work onsite Monday through Thursday in Lexington, Kentucky.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with engineered products, manufacturing, or product development.
• Experience with HVAC equipment, sheet metal design, piping packages, or related engineered product environments.
