What you will do

• Coach managers and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, sensitive workplace issues, and company policies.
• Triage employee relations matters and support timely resolution of issues affecting morale, culture, or employment relationships.
• Help managers address underperformance through documented coaching and performance improvement plans.
• Partner with HR Operations on complex employee and manager-generated requests and HR transactions.
• Translate employee relations case insights into improvements to policies, tools, training, and HR programs.
• Build relationships with employees, people leaders, HR, Legal, and cross-functional business groups.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in employee relations, HR generalist, or HR business partner roles.
• Proven ability to recommend solutions for complex, unique, and highly sensitive employment-related issues.
• Strong knowledge of current employment law, employment standards, legislation, and employee relations best practices.
• Ability to advise diverse stakeholders while balancing legal compliance and business needs.
• Strong influencing, judgment, decision-making, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with HR, Legal, managers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
