What you will do

• Rotate through departments and assist teammates with assigned duties to build technical knowledge.
• Attend sales meetings and insurance company-sponsored events as directed.
• Learn the agency management system, office procedures, marketing process, and training-program requirements.
• Develop relationships with insurance company underwriters.
• Participate in new-business prospecting and cold-calling exercises.
• Complete Brown & Brown University and required educational or professional designation courses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Pass the required state license examination within 90 days.
• Be accountable for attendance and work performance in the office-based training program.
