Logistics Coordinator

Salary: $25.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments.
• Prepare accurate shipping documentation and communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, agents, and clients.
• Coordinate ocean, air, LTL, drop-ship, and weekly consolidation shipments.
• Request freight quotes and review, log, and approve freight invoices.
• Track shipments, resolve international and domestic delivery issues, and maintain shipment records.
• Conduct logistics analyses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; business school or college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of international shipping logistics required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF.
• Clear verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and high attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must meet United States employment eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager.
• Working knowledge of the OzLink quote system and Descartes Customs application.
• Experience with domestic and international drop shipping.
