Logistics Coordinator

Location: United States (Remote); core working hours must overlap with the Operations team's schedule, with flexibility for multiple time zones and occasional after-hours shipment support.

What you will do

• Coordinate domestic and international standard freight, heavy haul, and specialized equipment shipments.
• Create, review, and maintain bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and related records.
• Track shipments, identify delays and exceptions, and provide proactive delivery updates.
• Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate transportation schedules and carrier appointments at manufacturing and delivery locations.
• Collect proof of delivery, maintain electronic records, and support logistics improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, supply chain, customer service, or related operational support.
• Working knowledge of domestic and international transportation processes and shipping documentation.
• Experience coordinating shipments and communicating with transportation providers, suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, or customs brokers.
• Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial, HVAC, data center cooling, or other specialized equipment freight.
• International logistics experience involving customs documentation, tariffs, and cross-border shipping.
• Experience supporting contract manufacturing across multiple geographies.
• Knowledge of transportation management systems, ERP platforms, or logistics tracking software.
