Director of Team Resources

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: $175,000–$225,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead the Team Resources Business Partner function across the retail business segment, including coverage, standards, coaching, development, and performance evaluation.
• Translate business strategy into human capital priorities and advise division presidents, senior leaders, and business office leaders.
• Partner with finance and business leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, staffing levels, compensation alignment, and scalable operations.
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, career pathing, internal mobility, and learning initiatives.
• Guide employment practices, policy interpretation, investigations, performance management, disciplinary matters, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Lead the people side of acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, restructurings, and other organizational changes.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university.
• 15+ years of experience in strategic leadership across functions and directing substantial resources.
• Demonstrated success leading Team Resources teams across talent acquisition, workforce development, employment practices, training, and leader development.
• Experience partnering with finance, technology, and business leaders on workforce plans, talent forecasts, performance metrics, and talent-gap strategies.
• Strong capability in organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, succession planning, employment compliance, and change leadership.
• Prior insurance industry experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• MBA or MA/MS in business or a human resources-related field.
• SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
