Director, People Business Partner, Technology (Fintech)

Location: United States; remote-first role with optional office collaboration in San Jose, California, and Draper, Utah

Salary: $168,000–$247,500 USD annually, depending on geographic zone, experience, expertise, and location

What you will do

• Partner with the CTO and technology leadership to develop people strategies, workforce plans, organizational designs, and long-term capability plans.
• Lead a team of People Business Partners supporting Engineering, Security, IT, and related technology functions.
• Drive performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, promotions, leveling, organizational health, and leadership development.
• Coach leaders through organizational design, change management, employee relations, and complex people decisions.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning and Organizational Development, and People Analytics to attract, retain, and develop technical talent.
• Improve scalable HR services and employee experiences using Workday, analytics, self-service tools, and consistent people practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive HR or People experience, including significant senior HR Business Partner experience with executive stakeholders.
• Experience partnering directly with a CTO, CPO, or similar technology leader in a high-growth technology, SaaS, or fintech company.
• Experience leading and developing People Business Partners or comparable HR professionals.
• Deep experience in organizational design, workforce planning, performance and talent management, employee relations, change management, and engagement.
• Familiarity with engineering career ladders, leveling and calibration, technical talent retention, people analytics, and HR technology; Workday experience is strongly preferred.
• Must already be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
