Senior Technical Analyst (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Provide 24x7 operational support for secure file transfer applications using SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTPS, Connect:Direct, and PGP encryption.
• Monitor and troubleshoot IBM Sterling File Gateway, Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Connect:Direct, and AXWAY MFT environments.
• Perform daily health checks covering application availability, disk and file-system usage, queues, services, and connectivity.
• Investigate transmission failures, analyze logs, identify root causes, and provide temporary fixes or workarounds.
• Support external clients during production transmission issues and collaborate with L3 and engineering teams on permanent resolutions.
• Maintain operational dashboards, SLA reports, SOPs, runbooks, and incident, problem, and change management records.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with Managed File Transfer solutions.
• Hands-on operational experience with one or more IBM Sterling, IBM Connect:Direct, Sterling security, Sterling Control Center, or AXWAY MFT tools.
• Experience supporting 24x7 mission-critical applications and managing multiple incidents simultaneously.
• Good working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting Perl, shell, batch, and PowerShell scripts.
• Understanding of certificates, encryption, authentication, ciphers, transmission workflows, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, vendors, internal stakeholders, and L3 teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS-hosted MFT environments.
• Exposure to ITSM or Remedy.
• Experience building or maintaining operational dashboards using Control Center, Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools.
