IT Operations Engineer

Location: Onsite in Manila, World Plaza, Philippines

What you will do

• Manage Linux and Windows operating environments.
• Support virtualized and containerized platforms.
• Monitor system performance and resolve incidents.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and automation tools.
• Improve infrastructure reliability, availability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, application, security, and architecture teams supporting retail banking services.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Linux and Windows systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Understanding of DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or Go; CI/CD, configuration management, monitoring, observability, and incident management.

Nice to have

• SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience with IT risk controls, audit support, or compliance.
• Exposure to high-availability and disaster recovery environments.
