Application Manager (Banking Applications)

What you will do

• Manage the technical operation and application support of the Temenos Data Source enterprise data management system for financial instrument data.
• Plan and implement technical release management for customer projects and ongoing system adaptations.
• Monitor technical interfaces with data providers and target systems, as well as end-of-day processing for all clients.
• Handle on-call service, exception handling, incident management, and service-quality monitoring.
• Develop application-operations procedures using Unix shell scripting and maintain operating documentation.
• Participate in customer service meetings and collaborate on migration projects and service development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Several years of experience managing banking applications.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL 16 and Oracle 23, including high-performance SQL queries and scripts.
• Experience with application servers, especially JBoss WildFly 18 or later, and Unix shell scripting.
• Analytical, pragmatic, reliable, independent, and service-oriented approach.
• Very good English skills required.

Nice to have

• Application expertise with the Enterprise Data Management system DataSource, also known as T-ProDB.
• Banking experience and business understanding of the securities environment.
