Associate Broker - Small Business Unit (SBU) (Environmental Insurance)

Location: Remote - Wisconsin; the role supports insurance agents nationally and is based in Madison, Wisconsin.

What you will do

• Support retention and growth for the Small Business Unit through new business, renewals, and ongoing account service.
• Work with insurance agents nationwide to explain policy coverage, advantages, and disadvantages.
• Provide customer service for coverage questions, policy changes, claims support, and billing clarifications.
• Review policies and quotes for accuracy and maintain activity records in management databases.
• Establish payment arrangements, assist with premium collection, and support production goals.
• Provide backup support in data entry, marketing, quality control, and urgent client communications outside scheduled hours.

Requirements

• Active state insurance license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience.
• Experience with EPIC, Salesforce, or equivalent management systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.

Nice to have

• Insurance designations such as CPCU, ARM, or CIC.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience in environmental insurance or wholesale brokerage.
