What you will do

• Act as the Responsible Pharmacist for prescription management and dispensing across specialist homecare therapies.
• Process prescriptions, perform clinical screening and interventions, and maintain patient safety and operational standards.
• Dispense prescriptions, report near misses and errors, order products, and authorize entries in patient medication records.
• Formulate unlicensed medicines and coordinate purchase orders with manufacturing providers.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient adherence and escalate concerns, adverse events, and incidents.
• Provide clinical counselling and product expertise while mentoring and coaching pharmacy support staff.

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist with GPhC.
• Experience conducting clinical investigations, including near-miss investigations.
• Strong coaching and training capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop others.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Current knowledge of GPhC and RPS pharmacy standards through continuous professional development.

Nice to have

• Post-registration experience in a homecare pharmacy setting.
