Pharmacy Team Lead (Healthcare)

Location: Winnersh, United Kingdom; weekday and weekend pharmacy shifts with work-from-home options.

Salary: £35,000–£45,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide visible, hands-on leadership during weekday and weekend shifts.
• Coordinate daily priorities, allocate tasks and manage workloads and staffing requirements.
• Support safe, accurate and compliant pharmacy operations in line with procedures, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the first point of contact for colleagues, resolving operational issues and escalating quality or safety concerns.
• Coach, give feedback and support the onboarding and development of team members.
• Work with Pharmacy Operations and the Pharmacy Manager to improve efficiency, communication, processes and patient experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience leading, supervising or managing a team in a busy operational environment.
• Experience managing daily operations, workloads, priorities and staffing requirements.
• Strong people-management, coaching, feedback and performance-management skills.
• Clear communication, sound decision-making, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence using computer-based systems and learning new tools and processes.
• Flexibility to work weekday and weekend shifts and willingness to learn pharmacy operations, healthcare processes and regulatory requirements.
