Software Engineer Intern (Fintech)

What you will do

• Work with a mentor and a high-performance engineering team to achieve team and product goals.
• Execute a small- to medium-sized project assigned by a product manager or lead software engineer.
• Participate in requirements and specification discussions and help design solutions for technical problems.
• Build scripts and APIs, enhance functionality, and fix bugs to improve data engineering services.
• Work with the in-house data platform and machine learning services using BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, DBT, and Airflow.
• Use cloud and DevOps tooling including Kubernetes, Terraform, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and Google Cloud Platform.

Requirements

• Be a third-year or final-year student, or a fresh graduate, in information systems, computer science, information technology, informatics engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Self-motivated, creative, collaborative, and able to explain complex problems to different audiences, including executives.

Nice to have

• Experience with Airflow or Dagster and DBT data modeling.
• Experience with Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with data warehouses, preferably BigQuery.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Redash, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
