Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership, guidance, mentoring, and coaching to software engineers.
• Design and architect complex, scalable software solutions.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable backend code for high-performance applications.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, operations, and other cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead or contribute to project planning, estimation, code reviews, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
• Create and maintain accessible technical documentation for code, design, and architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including substantial backend and cloud infrastructure experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, Python, Ruby, or Scala, with experience designing high-performance, concurrent applications.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software design principles, distributed systems, microservices, and containerization with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with backend unit and integration testing, plus strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, collaborate effectively, and mentor junior engineers.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Golang.
