Director of Product Marketing, SMB Growth (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States. Employees within a 50-mile commute of a designated U.S. Microsoft office are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $165,600–$272,300 per year in the San Francisco Bay Area. The general U.S. base pay range is USD $130,900–$251,900 per year.

What you will do

• Own SMB product marketing strategy, positioning, messaging, and value propositions across advertising and AI business solutions.
• Partner with product and growth teams on onboarding, activation, in-product messaging, and product-led growth.
• Plan integrated campaigns across web, email, social, search, and partner channels, and develop case studies, benchmarks, and success stories.
• Build joint positioning, co-marketing plans, launches, training, and enablement materials for platforms, resellers, and partners.
• Lead customer listening, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and user research to inform product priorities and roadmap decisions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams while applying AI to marketing workflows and advertising scenarios.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field plus 4+ years of business experience; or bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years of experience; or equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
• Experience in product marketing, growth marketing, integrated marketing, or paid media, with strong writing and content development skills.
• Experience influencing decisions and collaboration across sales, marketing, product, and engineering.
• Experience developing go-to-market strategies with partners that reach customers at scale.
• Ability to work from the Mountain View, California area and meet the four-days-per-week office expectation when within the designated commute range.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years, or master’s degree plus 8+ years, in product marketing, growth marketing, integrated marketing, or paid media.
• SMB marketing expertise, including product-led or self-serve growth, lifecycle marketing, and in-product marketing.
• Channel, partner, or platform partnership marketing experience.
• Experience marketing advertising, adtech, B2B technology, AI-powered products, or emerging product categories.
