Accounts Payable Associate (Insurance)

What you will do

• Process agent commission checks within established timelines.
• Investigate returned payments, endorsements, overpayments, commission discrepancies, and account credits.
• Process weekly ACH and check cancellations, claim payments, invoices, refunds, and mailed checks.
• Respond to agents, administrators, and dealerships by phone, mail, and email.
• Coordinate with internal departments and corporate accounting to resolve day-to-day accounting issues.
• Document correspondence and requests in the appropriate files and systems, while providing cross-coverage for accounting functions.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
