TL;DR
Senior Director of Corporate Development (Clean Energy): Managing the full lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments with an accent on deal origination, valuation, transaction execution, and cross-functional due diligence. Location: Fremont, California, USA; onsite

Annual salary: $200,000–$300,000 in California

What you will do

  • Develop the inorganic growth strategy and source acquisition targets, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead financial modeling, valuation analyses, scenario planning, and assessments of target companies, market dynamics, synergies, and integration requirements.
  • Manage the full M&A lifecycle, including transaction structuring, negotiations, due diligence, documentation, and closing.
  • Coordinate financial, legal, operational, commercial, technical, and HR diligence workstreams with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with integration management, business units, finance, and operations on post-transaction integration and performance monitoring.
  • Advise executive leadership and the Board, while mentoring junior team members and helping build the corporate development function.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading corporate development, M&A, strategic investments, and partnerships.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, and transactional skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional due diligence and negotiating transaction terms and documentation.
  • Ability to work with executive leadership, the Board, legal counsel, finance, product, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Ability to work onsite in Fremont, California, USA.
