Service Project Manager (HVAC)

Location: On-site in Livonia, Michigan, 5 days per week; up to 50% travel to customer job sites required.

Annual base salary: $81,800–$168,700 USD, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage commercial HVAC service projects from estimates through completion, including schedules, project parameters, work orders, and billing coordination.
• Create estimates and proposals, enter projects, issue purchase orders, and order and track parts and supplies.
• Schedule internal labor and coordinate work with customers, subcontractors, field support staff, and other trades.
• Monitor project timelines, financial performance, completion, and customer satisfaction.
• Investigate customer concerns, implement corrective actions, and communicate with building owners, contractors, subcontractors, and assigned staff.
• Ensure employees and subcontractors follow Trane and OSHA safety policies.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of project management experience in commercial HVAC is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; candidates without a four-year degree are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with HVAC service project management is required.
• Strong computer skills, organization, and customer service orientation.
• Availability for on-site work five days per week and up to 50% travel to customer job sites.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HVAC installation contracting processes and estimating.
• Experience managing subcontractors.
