Salary: $18.68–$31.14 hourly

What you will do

• Create payment coupons, general-ledger tickets, matter numbers, and fund-allocation tickets for auction proceeds, insurance payments, and expenses.
• Support repossession and remarketing operations, including account-status changes and related administrative requests.
• Enter data from invoices and other sources, receive documents, and verify their accuracy.
• Approve payments and prepare, send, and track checks for clients and vendors.
• Communicate primarily by email with repo agents, auctions, and other external vendors.
• Follow compliance, operational-risk, internal-control, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented approach to operational and payment-related work.
• Proficiency with PC applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email software.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of M&T Bank systems.
