Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Tokyo, Japan; hybrid with at least 3 days per week in the local office and remaining days flexible for remote work

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for roles across multiple functions and locations.
• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, candidate profiles, and priorities.
• Source, screen, assess, and engage candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, job boards, networking, and direct outreach.
• Build talent pipelines, conduct talent mapping and market research, and provide hiring insights.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate ATS records and support recruitment process improvements and employer branding initiatives.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, executive search, staffing, or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment and recruiting across functions such as Operations, Finance, Marketing, Creative, HR, Product, or Engineering.
• Strong sourcing, candidate assessment, interviewing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, ownership, resilience, adaptability, and proactive execution.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Candidates must be based in, or able to work from, the advertised location in Tokyo, Japan.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology companies, startups, recruitment agencies, or high-growth organizations.
• Additional language capabilities such as Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, or Japanese.
