Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Tokyo, Japan; must be located in the hirify.global Tokyo Japan office. Travel required up to 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

A global materials engineering company that designs, builds, and services equipment used to manufacture semiconductor chips and advanced displays.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities under moderate guidance, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and offer processing in Workday.
• Create recruiting and interviewing plans for open positions and select effective sourcing channels, vendors, websites, job boards, referrals, and internal pipelines.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to evaluate recruiting plans and improve hiring effectiveness.
• Build relationships with internal customers, external agencies, universities, institutes, associations, and the local talent community.
• Research new sources, build qualified-candidate networks, and cultivate candidate pools ahead of hiring needs.
• Use Workday and CRM systems for sourcing, reporting, metrics, feedback, and recruitment-process improvement; support employment-promotion activities and Talent Acquisition projects.

Requirements

• Relevant in-house Talent Acquisition experience as a recruiter.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Japanese.
• Passion for Talent Acquisition.
• Ability to be located in the hirify.global Tokyo Japan office.
• Mature sourcing, interviewing, and offer skills with consistent application of recruiting best practices.
• Consultative recruiting skills and the ability to provide input in niche recruiting areas.
• Ability to prioritize work, solve recruiting-service problems, manage change, navigate Talent Acquisition tools and technology, use data for collaboration, and facilitate cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve recruitment operations and service quality, establish processes and goals, and collaborate with HR, hiring managers, and candidates.
• Active team-player mindset, agility, positive and mature response to multiple inputs, attention to detail, and results orientation.

• Semiconductor, display, or high-tech industrial/product knowledge.
