Energy Services Project Manager

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; customer engagement and collaboration in the Tampa office

Salary: $84,740–$118,860 annual base salary; incentive eligible

What you will do

• Manage project financials, administration, implementation, compliance, documentation, safety requirements, and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of energy services and construction projects.
• Lead project teams and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining communication plans and resolving customer concerns.
• Validate project scope, cost, and schedules; review contract documents, establish customer expectations, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage cash flow, forecasts, expenses, collections support, applied costs, margins, and monthly backlog reviews.
• Qualify and coordinate subcontractors, oversee RFQs and subcontract awards, and manage execution, billing, communication, and safety expectations.
• Create and maintain project schedules with tasks, dependencies, and milestones while supporting sales with scope development and pricing strategies.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with project schedules and project management construction software.
• Extensive financial analysis experience, including cost segregation, margin analysis, earned value management, or similar project-based methodologies.
• Strong financial project management skills combined with technical or construction knowledge covering scope, schedules, and risk.
• Experience resolving collections and customer financial issues during project execution.
• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction project management is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months and an acceptable driving record are required.
