Team Lead 1st Shift - P5 (HVAC)

Location: Kentwood, Michigan, United States; on-site five days per week

Salary: $27.71 per hour

What you will do

• Build engineered HVAC equipment using standard work processes and lead a production assembly cell.
• Ensure the cell meets daily customer demand and production schedules.
• Train department employees and maintain safety, quality, and build standards.
• Promote LEAN guidelines and document daily activities using takt trackers, station boards, and required reports.
• Coordinate with purchasing, materials, technicians, engineering, quality, and safety teams.
• Participate in meetings and business improvement initiatives while demonstrating proactive leadership.

Requirements

• Manufacturing leadership experience.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, write basic correspondence, and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings.
• Ability to perform basic calculations, use whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, and use a tape measure.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work on-site in Kentwood, Michigan, including occasional overtime, weekends, and work in other departments.
