Service and Application Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Install, qualify, commission, configure, calibrate, and release automated semiconductor equipment to users.
• Test and optimize equipment and support customer testing applications.
• Define installation layouts, facility requirements, equipment locations, and installation sequences.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, motor, pneumatic, hardware, software, and safety issues.
• Provide system-operation, maintenance, and calibration training to users.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and maintain service records while keeping the work environment safe.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in the USA is required.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics for troubleshooting and debugging.
• Ability to perform hands-on work with basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of computer peripherals.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
