Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: US - TX; must be based in the Northern Dallas, Texas area. Ability to travel 50% of the time within North America is required, with occasional international travel.

Salary: $70,498–$93,998 per year, plus a bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Install, upgrade, test, calibrate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on hirify.global wet processing equipment.
• Isolate equipment and system malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Support new processes, methods, and equipment designs.
• Act as the primary contact for onsite equipment activities, technical communications, and field support.
• Build customer relationships and contribute to customer satisfaction and retention.
• Document equipment actions, events, and daily field activities in service reports.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required because the role involves access to ITAR-controlled information and unescorted access under the applicable program or contract.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field and at least five years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, robotics, and computer controls.
• System integration, testing, and debugging skills, including experience with semiconductor safety requirements and cleanroom environments.
• Excellent communication, customer relationship, problem-solving, decision-making, accuracy, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, use standard hand tools and office equipment, perform repetitive tasks, and wear PPE for several hours when required.
