Service and Application Technician (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Milpitas, CA 95035, USA; in-person work required

Salary: $34–$40 per hour

What you will do

• Install, commission, configure, calibrate, and qualify automated semiconductor equipment.
• Test and optimize equipment performance, including recipe tuning and system functionality verification.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, motor, pneumatic, hardware, software, and safety issues.
• Define equipment layouts, installation sequences, facility requirements, and building features.
• Communicate with customers, participate in kit design and design reviews, and provide system operation and maintenance training.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules, maintain service records, and travel up to 25% for field support.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in the USA is required.
• High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics for troubleshooting and debugging.
• Ability to perform hands-on work using basic hand tools.
• Knowledge of computer peripherals.

• Bilingual English and Chinese communication skills.
