Project Manager - Rental Services

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Onsite Monday through Thursday; Fridays offer flexible work location. Availability during East Coast business hours is required.

Salary: $63,111.66–$87,639.99 annual base salary range; compensation type is exception hourly.

What you will do

• Manage rental projects from equipment availability requests and order creation through delivery, returns, and completion.
• Coordinate equipment shipments and returns using Oracle Transportation Management and Emerge, with attention to freight costs and accurate planning.
• Manage customer and internal communications, cases, phone and email support through Salesforce.
• Review ship dates, resolve order discrepancies and disputes, and maintain order accuracy and billing coordination.
• Collaborate with sales, rental offices, account managers, billing, procurement, service centers, logistics teams, carriers, brokers, and drivers.
• Facilitate process improvement activities, Lean initiatives, brainstorming sessions, and special projects; participate in an on-call rotation for 24-hour customer support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma and at least six years of relevant experience.
• Professional and effective interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work with multiple departments.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure, prioritize independently, identify developing issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, especially with MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Salesforce, Oracle Transportation Management, Emerge, Tableau, and Infor M3.
• Availability for East Coast business hours, on-call rotation participation, and limited travel.

Nice to have

• Industry or logistics coordination experience.
• Working knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement processes.
