Rental Services HVAC Field Technician Helper (HVAC)

Location: Field-based in Litchfield Park, Arizona; work is conducted on-site at customer locations and the Rental Services depot.

Salary: $18.09–$31.65 per hour

What you will do

• Test, start up, commission, service, and maintain assigned commercial HVAC projects.
• Diagnose, analyze, and repair HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations or the Rental Services depot.
• Coordinate with team leaders and customers on on-site installations and repairs by reviewing building layouts, identifying potential issues, and gathering materials.
• Use software, handheld devices, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to complete diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, site surveys, equipment replacements, and system modifications.
• Maintain safety standards, asset records, customer communication, and service findings while supporting overtime and occasional overnight stays as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of commercial HVAC experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, mechanical layouts, and HVAC servicing.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional overnight stays based on business needs.

• EPA Universal Certification.
