Special Assets Relationship Liaison (Hybrid - See Job Description for Listed Locations)

Location: Hybrid, requiring in-office work four days a week, based in Syracuse, Buffalo, or Rochester, New York; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Wilmington, Delaware; or another location within the bank's footprint.

Salary: $22.61–$37.67 hourly (USD).

What you will do

• Act as the liaison between commercial customers and Special Assets Workout Officers, answering questions and coordinating issue resolution with internal partners.
• Process deposit and loan servicing requests, including payments, advances, collateral releases, credit inquiries, account maintenance, reconciliations, and relationship transfers.
• Support BSA/AML/KYC activities by validating customer status, entity documentation, registrations, signatures, and due diligence requirements.
• Monitor portfolio, delinquency, overdraft, KYC, pricing, and other bank reports; investigate discrepancies and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain accurate paper and electronic customer records, perform system data entry, and complete ERM profile setup and maintenance requests.
• Collaborate with Workout Officers, Group Managers, Supervisors, and other departments while supporting team transactions, escalations, projects, training, and complaint reporting.

Requirements

• Associate degree and at least two years of customer service experience in banking operations, retail, or credit; alternatively, four years of combined higher education and/or work experience including two years of banking customer service experience.
• Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software packages.
• Strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple assignments under time constraints, and interact professionally with clients, management, and peers.
• Ability to follow banking, operational risk, regulatory, and internal control requirements.
