Commercial Relationship Service Specialist Senior

Location: Akron, OH; office workplace

Salary: $70,000–$140,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial customers and Relationship Managers.
• Manage complex, highly visible, and sensitive customer relationships, including large corporate and specialized commercial accounts.
• Oversee end-to-end onboarding for commercial deposit and loan accounts, including complex features, risks, and unique requirements.
• Research and resolve escalated issues while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Support treasury management products such as escrow services, deposit account control agreements, FBOs, controlled disbursement, and credit sweeps.
• Guide service colleagues and partners, participate in customer and deal-team meetings, and lead projects and bank initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of commercial banking experience focused on deposits, loans, treasury management, customer service, or banking operations.
• Strong business acumen, critical thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently with complex and sensitive customer relationships while maintaining quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other digital resources.

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring, coaching, or training peers and less experienced colleagues.
• Experience with large private and public companies, high-risk businesses, specialized entity types, or commercial industry verticals.
• Ability to facilitate workflows, implement new processes, and provide operational and risk management support.
