Commercial Relationship Service Specialist II

Location: Houston, TX; office-based. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial customers and Relationship Managers.
• Identify, research, analyze, and resolve complex customer and banking operations issues independently.
• Oversee end-to-end onboarding and management of commercial deposit and loan accounts, including complex features and risk requirements.
• Manage large, sensitive, and high-visibility commercial relationships and approve multi-million-dollar transactions.
• Support relationship growth by offering treasury and commercial banking products such as escrow services, deposit account control agreements, FBOs, controlled disbursement, and credit sweeps.
• Attend customer, deal team, and business segment meetings while monitoring customer strategies and relationship priorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of commercial banking experience focused on deposits, loans, treasury management, customer service, or banking operations.
• Strong business acumen, critical thinking, analytical, organizational, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional customer service approach.
• Ability to work independently across multiple tasks while maintaining quality and adapting to change.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with large commercial and public companies, high-risk businesses, foreign-owned subsidiaries, private equity, fund finance, financial services, REITs, healthcare, commercial real estate, technology, or telecommunications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other digital resources.
