What you will do

• Lead the enterprise Test Data Management and Quality Engineering Practice, including strategy, standards, governance, tooling, frameworks, and operational excellence.
• Manage Lead Engineers, Senior Engineers, Engineers, and contract resources through hiring, coaching, performance management, career development, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Oversee Delphix-based test data virtualization, masking, self-service provisioning, synthetic data strategies, and test data lifecycle management.
• Define enterprise testing frameworks and automation approaches for functional, API, integration, end-to-end, regression, performance, continuous, and user acceptance testing.
• Establish reference architectures and quality gates integrating testing tools, application environments, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and reporting platforms.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, security, risk, compliance, product, and delivery organizations to improve quality, scalability, security, compliance, and delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including at least 4 years of engineering or architecture experience and 3 years of leadership experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, test automation, Test Data Management, or related engineering disciplines.
• At least 3 years of direct people leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Experience leading enterprise testing, automation, quality engineering, governance, or Test Data Management initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, software development lifecycle practices, relational databases, risk management, data privacy, information security, and compliance.
• Experience integrating testing capabilities into DevOps and CI/CD delivery pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience leading a Testing Center of Excellence, Quality Engineering Practice, or shared engineering services organization.
• Hands-on experience with Delphix, SmartBear Zephyr, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, Postman, GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Jira, and REST Assured.
• Experience with cloud-native application testing in Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience evaluating AI-enabled testing solutions, intelligent test generation, or predictive quality analytics.
• Financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industry experience.
