Testing & Automation Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI, API, and backend tests across applications and platforms.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing using a test-pyramid approach.
• Build resilient automation frameworks and integrate continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering and Product teams on test scenarios, acceptance criteria, sprint activities, and defect resolution.
• Define release-readiness criteria, report coverage and defect-escape measures, and provide go/no-go quality input.
• Use and validate AI-assisted tools for test generation, test-data creation, coverage analysis, and defect detection while helping establish safe usage guardrails.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, or Postman.
• Ability to read, write, or debug test code or scripts in languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Understanding of REST APIs, service-based architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is considered.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with observability concepts and quality or monitoring signals used to inform testing.
