Merchant Customer Service Specialist I (Fintech)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary contact in the Merchant Customer Service phone queue for inbound customer and client calls.
• Answer inquiries and resolve issues across merchant services products.
• Support clients using multiple software, mainframe applications, and merchant processing platforms.
• Answer specialized chargeback questions and coordinate resolution of complex product and service issues.
• Monitor clients for fraud or high-risk processing activity.
• Troubleshoot merchant equipment and assess, prepare, and order replacement equipment.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and at least one year of customer service, computer, or related experience.
• Alternatively, three years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including at least one year of relevant customer service or computer experience.
• Strong oral and written communication and telephone customer service skills.
• Ability to work with external business and corporate customers, sales representatives, and Merchant Services operations staff.
