Senior Client Service Advisor-1 (Merchant Services)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States; office-based. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Resolve complex client servicing escalations across onboarding and ongoing account management.
• Provide advanced technical support for POS terminals, payment gateways, and VAR integrations.
• Analyze statements and fees, reprice accounts, maintain accounts, and investigate billing and funding issues.
• Guide clients through PCI compliance, chargebacks, system usage, and issue prevention.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and third-party service providers to support client activation and retention.
• Identify account optimization opportunities and contribute to revenue protection and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five years of experience in merchant services or a related industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Advanced knowledge of back-office operations, including interchange qualification analysis, ACH reject resolution, and compliance-related projects.
• Knowledge of third-party gateway and payment processing platforms, plus experience with Clover products and platforms.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Salesforce, and the ability to learn additional systems quickly.
