Senior Employee Relations Partner – China and Taiwan Scope

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; Shanghai, China; or Tainan, Taiwan. Relocation eligible. Travel required up to 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end employee relations investigations, including intake, interviews, evidence analysis, findings, recommendations, and case closure.
• Manage sensitive matters involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, conflicts of interest, ethics concerns, and policy violations.
• Advise and coach managers on performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, corrective measures, and involuntary separations.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Security, HR Business Partners, and business leaders on high-risk employee matters.
• Interpret employment laws and company policies across multiple jurisdictions and recommend legal, operational, and employee risk mitigation actions.
• Analyze case metrics and trends, improve employee relations processes, and develop training for managers and HR stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Workplace Investigations, Employment Law, or related HR fields.
• Demonstrated ability to independently conduct complex workplace investigations.
• Strong experience with performance management, disciplinary actions, misconduct cases, and involuntary separations.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, HR, and business leaders on high-risk employee matters.
• Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws and HR compliance requirements in a multinational or matrix organization.
• Professional-level English communication and business writing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Greater China operations, including knowledge of Taiwan and China labor regulations.
• Experience in semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, or another fast-paced multinational industry.
• Experience with regional or global employee relations programs or an Employee Relations Center of Excellence.
• Background in Employment Law, Labor Relations, Compliance, or Workplace Investigations.
