Service Engineer (Data Centre Focus)

Location: On-site in Masai, Malaysia, 5 days per week

What you will do

• Provide technical support, servicing, and maintenance for HVAC systems and mission-critical data centre cooling equipment.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps, cooling towers, and related infrastructure.
• Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, commissioning, and cooling-system performance optimization.
• Lead and supervise technicians or subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality completion of work.
• Coordinate schedules and technical issues with data centre customers, vendors, and contractors.
• Prepare maintenance plans, documentation, and reports while following EHS and internal quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of HVAC experience, preferably in data centre operations or mission-critical cooling systems.
• Strong expertise in chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, HVAC controls, and cooling optimization.
• Ability to respond to urgent or unplanned maintenance needs and work extended or irregular hours when required.
